Exclusive or Non-Exclusive

We work with our brand partners on either an exclusive or non-exclusive distribution basis for the Japanese market — depending on your product category, existing relationships, and strategic preferences.

For most of our brands, we recommend an exclusive arrangement in Japan — it aligns incentives, lets us invest more deeply in your brand's marketing and positioning, and avoids the channel conflict and price erosion that comes from multiple distributors competing for the same customers.

Our agreements include clear minimum purchase commitments, performance milestones, and transparent reporting — so you always retain visibility and control over your brand's performance in Japan.

From agreement signing to first sales on Japanese e-commerce platforms, typically 6–12 weeks — depending on the regulatory requirements for your product category and the complexity of import documentation.

Do you require exclusivity?

We prefer exclusive arrangements for Japan, but we discuss each situation individually. If you have existing relationships in Japan, we are happy to explore non-exclusive or complementary arrangements.

What product categories do you work with?

Our current focus is on sports and outdoor, consumer electronics and smart home appliances, and lifestyle accessories — categories where quality-focused international brands have a proven track record in Japan. We evaluate each brand on its individual merits.
